Albumul lui Britney Spears ‘Blackout’ a fost numit ‘Albumul Anului’ in cadrul premiilor NRJ ce au avut loc sambata (26 ianuarie) la Cannes. Spears s-a impus astfel in fata unor concurenti precum Amy Winehouse, Mika, James Blunt sau Rihanna.
Tokio Hotel au primit distinctia pentru ‘International Grup/Duo of the Year’, intr-o categorie unde s-au luptat artisti precum Linkin Park sau Maroon 5.
Printre laureati s-au mai numarat Justin Timberlake si Avril Lavigne – pentru ‘Best International Male’ si respectiv ‘Best International Female’.
Rihanna a castigat premiul pentru ‘International Song of the Year’ cu cel mai recent hit al ei – ‘Please Don’t Stop the Music’.
